Literacy

  • Recognize the sound /v/, /j/.
  • Extend their vocabulary/ practice handwriting.
  • Practice blending RWI green words (jet-jog-jug-jam-vet-van).

Numeracy

1. Recognise number 20– value and formation.

2. Ordering Numbers before and after to 20

3. Review 2D shapes: oval, heart, star, crescent, semi-circle, pentagon, hexagon, and octagon.

4. Recognise number word "seven"

Understanding the World (Science/ Social studies)

- Due to the International Day event, Students in each class gained knowledge about the designed country.

-Besides, students acquired some skills and are able to :

  • Identify each country's flag.
  • Recognise each country's currency
  • List the famous traditional food in each country.
  • List some of the famous Landmarks at each country.
  • Identify famous animals. 

Reading

By the end of the session, students will be able to:

1- Remember the digraphs: sh, ch, th, ng, qu.

2- Apply different activities on the digraphs.

3- Remember the sight words.

4- Read simple sentences”ditty sheets”.

5- Read simple story”red ditty book2”
