3.4 Understanding Upper and Lower Bounds

Objectives:

Work out upper and lower bounds.

To practice giving the range of values for different degrees of rounding.

Finding the range of values for different numbers.

Definition:

The lower bound is the smallest value that would round up to the estimated value. 

The upper bound is the smallest value that would round up to the next estimated value.
