Week 3 focus
Sunday: Students reviewed figurative language. Once through, pupils took a short quiz, which then was peer edited by the students and the teacher.
Monday: Final explanation of Descriptive using all the senses along with the proper use of figurative language in their writing.
Homework: pupils will write 2 explanatory paragraphs of their own choosing. This assignment is due on Wednesday, it also needs to be written in their writing copybooks.
Tuesday: Reading comprehension and comparison.
EXTRACT: SAMUEL PEYS'S DIARY
Students will read the extract ad try to picture the scene in their imagination, then they should be able to answer the questions.
Wednesday: Grammar section
