Data Handing -Creating and understanding charts and graphs-Why data is useful?


By the end of the lesson learners should be able to:

  • Put data into rows and columns.
  • Formatting text: use different styles, sizes, and colors to make the words stand out. make them bold, italic, or underline to show importance or make them look different.

To format data as a table:

  1. Select the cells you want to format as a table. In our example, we'll select the cell range A2:D9.

  2. From the Home tab, click the Format as Table command in the Styles group.
  3. Select a table style from the drop-down menu.
  4. A dialog box will appear, confirming the selected cell range for the table Click the Cell Styles command on the Home tab, then choose the desired style from the drop-down menu.
